Tommy Torres has always had a passion for stand-up comedy and has had the opportunity to see many comedy legends perform live, including his favorite comedian, George Carlin. Fearless on stage, Tommy began his comedy career in NYC at various late-night open mic nights before relocating to Florida in late 2007. In March 2008, he continued to develop his comedy skills at a local comedy workshop in Jacksonville, FL. Just a few months later, Tommy was hosting at the Comedy Zone in Jacksonville, and shortly thereafter, he began featuring and headlining at comedy events regionally. Throughout his journey, Tommy has shared the stage with numerous talented comedians such as Rob Schneider, Ralphie May, Kevin Pollak, Jamie Lissow, Billy Gardell, and Damon Wayans Jr., among others. As a regular guest on 99.9 FM Gator Radio's 'Hometown Morning Show' in Jacksonville, FL, as well as iHeart Sports Radio, Tommy has made a name for himself. He was a Semi-Finalist in the 'Florida's Funniest Comedian' competition and was voted Jacksonville's first 'Best Local Comedian.' Today, Tommy Torres continues to travel far and wide, taking audiences on an amazing roller coaster ride of hilarious everyday experiences, real-life happenings, personal history, and family events in a way that resonates with any audience and keeps them laughing!
